35mm Film Stitch
posted in do stuff! in March 2009: free!
This is a stitch pattern, made into a cuff, but written so that you could use it in any project. The slip-stitches make the film holes appear like fair aisle stranded colorwork, but you are actually only working with one color per row; it's like magic! There is a knit-flat version of the pattern too, but knitting in the round is much easier with the way it works. Embroidered photographs recommended!
