all leethal items are designed and handmade by Lee Meredith. everything you see here was made from all or mostly recycled materials (the only exception being the buttons). fabrics were once clothing or sheets, or were unwanted/leftover. most materials were found in thrift stores or other secondhand shops, waiting to be reclaimed and repurposed! |
![]() diy knit kits (details and more kits here!) ![]() spiraling stripes hat pattern set pdf kits for the spiral hats are on the diy kits page, but you can also get the pattern set pdf alone. there are 6 different patterns which will use about 90 yards of yarn each. the patterns will work with any self-striping yarn, or you could try variegated for a different look. the set also includes instructions for the cast on and off methods, sizing info, and more. the pdf will be emailed to you soon after your order is placed (within 24 hours). $4.50 knit mitts kits with these kits, you will get enough yarn for 1 pair of ninja mitts (65-70 yards), dyed to make cool mitts (striped, or otherwise multi-colored), and the pattern. you will just need a set of size us 10 double pointed knitting needles and a tapestry needle. for more details, or to share your finished mitts, see the accompanying blog post! yarn alone is $1 less than the kit. the pattern pdf alone ($1) can be found after the kits. ![]()
![]() sunken sea treasure knit mitts kit this delicious, chunky yarn started out as one strand of white wool, one strand of darker tan wool, and a strand of light brown angora/wool blend, all recycled from thrifted sweaters, which were then spun and plied together with changing colors of sewing thread. the plied yarn was then dyed variegated shades of greens, blues, and golden yellows and browns. 100% wool, angora/lambswool/nylon blend, and sewing threads.
![]() honeydew and cantaloup knit mitts kit this yarn has random clumps of colors - shades of green, orange, blue, and yellow, dyed lightly over a natural wool. recycled from an untagged (handknit?) sweater, the exact fiber content is unknown, but it's suspected to be a wool blend. the mitts will be randomly multi-colored, like the middle example pictured.
